MEDIATOR PROFILE
Molly Tyroler’s lifelong passion for advocacy and creative problem-solving led her to pursue law school. There she gained the tools necessary to help people navigate our complex legal system. Molly graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2010, where she extensively studied alternative dispute resolution (negotiation and mediation).
Molly focuses her practice on Minnesota Workers’ Compensation law. After starting her career representing parties of workers’ compensation claims, she went to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI), where she was able to combine her knowledge of the law with the desire to work in dispute resolution.
At DLI, Molly held medical and vocational rehabilitation conferences and wrote decisions on a wide variety of disputes. She began mediating cases for parties of workers’ compensation claims in 2015.
In 2018, Molly opened Tyroler Law and Mediation, where she continues to serve parties of workers’ compensation and personal injury cases as a mediator. In her role, she works collaboratively with parties to facilitate negotiations and settlements. Molly is also approved by the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program (UCWCP) to serve as a mediator and arbitrator.
Molly is a frequent speaker at seminars, conferences, and continuing legal education courses, educating other attorneys, mediators, and judges on various workers’ compensation and mediation/dispute resolution topics. She has trained mediators and judges across the country in advanced mediation concepts and strategies and is frequently asked to provide bias training.
